What is The Sandbox
The sandbox is a very special Videogame, you may ask why.
Unlike other blockchain-based play-to-earn games, the Sandbox is entirely based on user-generated content.
Also, this game has a huge social aspect, by allowing people to interact with their own creations and even earn rewards by making games for others, playing games built by others, or adding interesting stuff to others’ games, The Sandbox has created a unique entry point into the metaverse, thus making it the third-largest metaverse based on the Ethereum blockchain.
SAND
The utility token SAND is the basis for transactions and interactions within The Sandbox ecosystem. It is an Ethereum blockchain-based ERC-20 utility coin.
There is a finite amount of sand, it being 3,000,000,000 SAND.
It can be used to play games, buy items, or customize avatars.
Users may earn the token while playing the game. SAND is also a governance token, which means that holders of the token can vote on game-related decisions.
LAND
In The Sandbox metaverse, LAND is a digital piece of real estate that users may buy to create experiences on top.
You will be able to fill a LAND with Games and Assets after you’ve purchased one.
Each LAND is a one-of-a-kind (non-fungible) token that exists on the public Ethereum network (ERC-721).
Sandbox Marketplace
The marketplace is where players and developers advertise their ASSETS for sale in return for SAND.
The marketplace also allows users to make money in the metaverse by allowing producers to sell their NFTs or by allowing them to become virtual real estate brokers and resell LAND parcels.
