Hello and welcome back to a new article in our series “Beginners guide to NFTs”, we have come far in explaining some of the most famous and interesting NFTs out there, but… we are not done.

In today's article, we will talk about one of my personal favorites, the “Doodles” NFT collection.

Now, here are some articles you should read before we start so everything is more clear:

With nothing more to say, let's get right into it.

What are doodles?

Doodles are very similar to other NFTs, they are a collection of 10,000 colorful non-fungible tokens based inside the Ethereum blockchain, and their value changes depending on what species they are or the features they have, for example:

There are more human doodles than aliens, cats, apes, and skeletons (“skellys” in Doodle language). Since humans are more common, the price could be lower than for the other species.

They were made by the illustrator “Burnt Toast” also known as Scott Martin there was also Evan Keast who specialized in branding and Jordan Castro (known as poopie)

What makes them popular?

Apart from their pleasing pastel colors, shapes, and characters these NFTs grant you extra things such as access to the latest merchandise, products, and events through continued ownership. Not just this, you can also vote for experiences, and products paid with the sales of the NFTs, Doodle holders can do all of these things by joining the Doodles Discord server.

On the other side, people are attracted to the way they look, with people seeing them as the perfect Collectible, making them shine in the NFT market.

Fun facts:

  1. The illustrator of Doodles “Burnt Toast” created illustrations for big companies like Snapchat, Whatsapp, and Google.
  2. You can get a “personal spaceship” for your doodle, by transferring it into a “space doodle” but you can always get your original NFT back by “docking” it. This process is completely free.
  3. Doodle #8426 is owned by the famous singer, Justin Beaber.

This is the end of this article and I hope you learned a lot about this pastel NFT collection that stole everyone's heart
